Race Retro 2026 (20–22 February) at Stoneleigh Park placed me at the heart of Europe’s premier historic motorsport season opener. This year's event was "Bigger and Bolder," featuring a record number of professional brands and a redesigned live action experience.

The Live Rally Stage: A 2026 Evolution

The standout feature of your visit was likely the revamped Live Rally Stage, which introduced significant mechanical and layout changes for the 2026 edition:

  • Session Variations: For the first time, the stage route changed after every single session, providing fresh technical challenges for the 120+ drivers and new shooting angles for spectators.

  • Sunday Reverse: On Sunday, the track ran primarily in the opposite direction, completely shifting braking zones and racing lines.

  • The Super Stage: The weekend culminated on Sunday afternoon with the largest stage in the event's history—a 4.7-mile 'Super Stage' created by combining the rally and passenger tracks.

  • The event as a whole was fantastic, the variety of vehicles on show was nothing less than outstanding. The media access was well organizsed and the cars on the rally stage were just fantastic to witness.
